FAQ’s

Is this course online or in-person?
Both! Our bootcamp uses a “flipped classroom” method of learning. Most of your learning will take place online throughout the week. You’ll then meet weekly for class. In class, you’ll engage in discussions with other students and get help with your business.

What can I expect to learn?
You’ll learn everything from A to Z on how to run successful digital marketing campaigns as well as how to optimize your website(s) for increased sales and traffic. You’ll learn about SEO, social media management, content marketing, email marketing, PPC, analytics and much more.

Outside of my weekly class, how much time should I expect to be putting into learning?
Our course was designed with busy people in mind. Having said that, it’s going to be an intense eight weeks and we’ll only accept students who are dedicated to learning. Outside of class, we suggest putting aside about 6 hours a week for learning the material online and working on your marketing efforts.

Who will I be sitting next to?
You’ll be sitting next to other entrepreneurs, creators, and marketing professionals who are there for the same reason you are: To master the art of growing a business online.

How much does this bootcamp cost?
Tuition for the bootcamp is $1,999. This tuition covers everything and will give you access to our online courses and student community for a year after completing the bootcamp. For those who want lifetime access to our curriculum and student community, the cost will be $2,499. We do have financing options available as well.

Are there additional costs outside of my tuition?
Your tuition covers everything you need for this course. We will recommend many paid tools throughout the course that will make your marketing more effective, but paying for them is not required for the class.

What is the application process like?
You’ll fill out an application that lets us know more about you, what you do, and what your goals are. We’ll then set up a quick phone call where we will answer your questions and ensure you are a good fit for the program. You’ll then receive an official acceptance letter outlining everything you need to know for the course.

Once you are accepted you’ll be required to process a non-refundable $300 deposit that locks in your seat. This deposit does count towards your total tuition cost.

Am I automatically accepted when I apply?
No. Because we limit our class sizes we need to make sure that the people we accept really want to be here. The key thing that we are looking for in your application is a passion to learn. If you have a real desire to learn the skills we teach, we know we can get you there.

Am I over/under qualified for this course?
The fact that you are even reading this question shows you are interested in the idea of expanding your skill set. As long as you are an active internet user, and are comfortable with social media, email and the web in general, you should be fine. In your class, there will be students with zero previous marketing experience and others who have done quite a bit of marketing but are looking to update their knowledge.

If you feel you may be over/under qualified we suggest applying anyway. There is no cost to apply and we will let you know if we feel our bootcamp isn’t a good fit for you.

Do I need to own a business to take this course?
You do not need to own your own business. We do have many entrepreneurs and startup founders that take our course, but we also have a lot of students who are marketing employees at other companies looking to improve, as well as students who want to market a side project. We do require all students have some type of active business/project they are looking to market before applying for our course.

If you don’t have a business/project you are doing marketing for, we ask that you take some time to think of a project to market throughout the course. We’ll help you with this in the application process. You could even contact a local business and ask if you can optimize their web presence while you are going through the course to get a jumpstart on a freelance business.

Will my boss pay for this course?
Believe it or not, your company may be more than happy to pay for Market Campus. We have many companies pay for their employees to take our bootcamp and have loved the benefits it brings.

We suggest talking to your boss to see if they would be willing to cover your tuition. Let them know that they are free to contact us at info@marketcampus.com with any questions they may have!

Do I need to bring anything to class?
You will be required to bring your own laptop to work on during class.

What if I can’t make it to class on a certain day?
We understand that life happens. If you can’t make a class please let us know ahead of time so we can do our best to get you caught up. We highly suggest you don’t miss class as you could potentially fall behind very quickly. Our focus is to make sure you are setup for success.

If you know that you’ll be missing a chunk of classes due to vacations or other commitments, you may want to consider applying for a later cohort that could better fit your schedule.

Will I learn how to create my own website?
No. Market Campus does not teach anything related to coding or designing websites. We teach you how to effectively market a website (rank higher on search, increasing website traffic, grow social pages, etc). We’ll also teach you principles to follow when initially designing a website (setting up a good navigation, how to title pages, etc).

If you are solely looking to learn how to design/build a website we suggest looking into other bootcamps such as DevMountain.

When does my tuition need to be paid?
Once you have applied and have been accepted, you’ll need to immediately process a $300 non-refundable deposit. This deposit will lock in your seat in the course. You’ll then need to process the remaining tuition before your first day of class.
